Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Be the Street (BTS) employs applied improvisation techniques to create performances by, with, and for community members to engage and expand perceptions of themselves and others across their differences, as well as strengthen social networks essential to marginalized communities. In partnership with Nationally renowned Albany Park Theatre Project, graduate student facilitators conduct semester-long workshops with our community partners that culminate in a public performance.  In this workshop, Artistic Director Moriah Flagler will share theory surrounding the project and will lead participants through Be the Street’s model for using applied improvisation to create community-engaged performance.
