GII Symposium 2019

Dan is co-founder and Producing Artistic Director of the critically acclaimed Impro Theatre in Los Angeles. He is also co-founder of Los Angeles Theatresports and BATS Improv in San Francisco. A multi-faceted actor, writer and director he has appeared on television in everything from Seinfeld to NCIS. He has taught for the playwriting and screenwriting programs at UCSB and DUKE. He was an adjunct professor for USC‘s BFA program and has also taught in the MBA Program for the University of Texas McCoombs School of Business. He has coached Cirque du Soleil, Dreamworks and Disney Animation. His training includes the American Conservatory Theater and the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts. He co-wrote Life UnScripted with Jeff Katzman published by North Atlantic Books which applies narrative improvisation skills to life.
