Improbable: Taking Impro Into non Improvisational spaces and cultures

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Phelim McDermott and Lee Simpson of Improbable have taken improvisation into rehearsal rooms and into the kind of spaces where it doesn’t usually belong.

Improbable are a theatre company, but they bring Improvisation to all their work - full scale opera, Shakespeare, adaptations, devising, Open Space, even the running of the company itself.

This session will cover how they do that, What are the techniques they have used. What’s the gain and what’s the pain of that, and where the company might be headed with this research.
